Marketing Literatuur Award

In 2005 my book Van Massamerk naar Mensmerk was given a top-3 nomination for the Dutch Marketing Literature Award of the year. This is an award from the PIM (Dutch Platform for Innovation in Marketing). From thirty marketing books, my work was chosen alongside the winner Waardecreatie en innovatie in business to business markten (creating value in business 2 business markets), written by the Belgian authors Paul Matthyssens and Coen Vandenbempt and the book Oog voor de toekomst (Eye for the future, containing future scenario’s) by Philip Idenburg. My book was praised all-round for vision, legibility and practical tips, but despite all the compliments I’m still saddened I didn’t get to go home with the trophy :-(. Maybe next time!

Meanwhile I’m working on a new book describing the world in 2050 and which fits seamlessly with the trend of the same name: Pamper Planet.
